Our Story
Chatterbox started with a simple idea: parents deserve reliable care and kids deserve fun memories. From small beginnings, we’ve grown into a trusted name for babysitting across Curaçao, from cozy homes to big events.
We’ve helped countless clients enjoy their family vacation in Curaçao to the fullest; from beach days with an extra pair of hands and eyes, to date night for mom and dad exploring the island, while the littles are safely taken care off at their accommodation. We work with trusted brands like Avila Beach Hotel and Baoase Resort, and have a proven reputation of love for children, safety at the first place and fun and affordable childcare parents can rely on.

About the Founder
Hi, I’m Joan! Even before becoming a mom, I loved working with children. I believe every family is unique, and every child should feel loved and cared for, wherever they are.
What I enjoy most about Chatterbox is that there’s never a dull moment. I get to meet amazing families, share in their stories, and help out wherever I can.
Outside of work, I’m all about creativity; I love writing, arts and crafts, playing games, and doing things a little out of the box. You’ll also often find me outdoors, enjoying nature and spending time with my family.
My big dream? To partner with hotels and create beautiful kid-friendly spaces where children can have fun while parents truly relax.
